Our Favorite Red Wines

It’s November which means Red Wine Season is OFFICIALLY upon us! Time to pack up the Sauv B and trade it in for something dry, room temp, and delicious.

The second it gets too cold to do anything outside, you’ll find me with a cozy blanket curled up on the couch with a glass bottle of red wine, a cheese board, and some chocolate. Is it too early to start watching Christmas movies?

We’ve highlighted some of our favorite reds to try this November!

Empire Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley CA
A seamless Cabernet from beginning to end. Gentle, dark berry fruit opens up to supple texture and a moderately long nish. A well-crafted, balanced, full-bodied Napa Valley Cabernet.
Louis Tete Beaujolais-Villages, France
Thanksgiving is just around the corner – and this wine pairs perfectly with a turkey!
Pico & Vine Pinot Noir, Russian River Valley CA
Lush bing cherries, earthiness, vanilla with hints of orange blossom make for a delicious and special wine. On the palate, supple tannins combine with extended red cherry and French oak-infused caramel and spice. The flavors are ripe and elegant and carefully balanced with the acidity.
Fly By Zinfandel, Lake County CA
is Zinfandel is a rich purple-garnet color with aromas of black fruit, baking spice and a hint of soft oak. Flavors include ripe blackberries and cherries, cloves, vanilla, and white pepper. Smooth with good structure, rich tannins and a long finish.
Stay tuned for more Thanksgiving wine recommendations. Happy Drinking!
