Wicked St. Patty’s Day Celebrations
It’s almost the Christmas of New England, better known as St. Patrick’s Day. We live in the land of Irish immigrants, Ben Affleck, the Kennedy’s, and the Dropkick Murphy’s, so get your Celtics jerseys, green face paint, Shamrock Shakes and Guinness ready for the biggest celebration of the year.
Whether you’re planning on being in Boston or Worcester (or both) you’ll have a wicked fun time at these events.
St. Patrick’s Day Parade, Worcester, MA – Sunday, March 12th, 12 PM

This local pastime is always fun for all ages. This year the Loft 266 Bar & Lounge is turing their parking lot into a huge celebration – drink specials, delicious food – and you can see the parade from there! Check out these nearby bars in case you’re in the mood to hop around after:

St. Patrick’s Day Parade, South Boston, MA – Sunday, March 19th 1 PM

If you’re looking for an authentic celebration, I’m pretty sure Southie has more Irish pride than Dublin. The parade route is right near the neighborhood’s best bars, all located in the same area of West Broadway. Make sure you stop by these popular Southie bars for an Irish Car Bomb or a shot of Jameson:

Life Hack: Grab a Shamrock Shake at McDonald’s on the way and mix in some Bailey’s. TOP OF THE MORNING TO YA.
